Coeur d'Alene Mines Corporation (NYSE:CDE) announced today that the Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) and the National Mining Association (NMA) have awarded the Company's Rochester Mine located near Lovelock, Nevada, the Sentinels of Safety Award, the top mine safety award for metal/non-metal surface mining operations for the year 2000.
