Corporation covering Coeur's Puchuldiza gold property located approximately 155 miles northeast of the port city of Iquique in northern Chile. Under the terms of the agreement, Barrick can earn a 75 percent interest in the property for exploration expenditures of $2.25 million over the next five years. For an additional $5.75 million in exploration spending, Barrick can increase its property interest to 85 percent. Coeur, however, can recover its full 25 percent interest by making a cash payment to Barrick equivalent to 25 percent of Barrick's additional expenditure of $5.75 million, plus a 50 percent penalty.
