CodeMesh Releases Latest Version of JunC++ion; Patent-Pending 'In-Process' Integration Approach Reduces Need for Expensive Middleware Options and Speeds Time-to-Market.

CARLISLE, Mass. -- CodeMesh, Inc., the leading provider of solutions for integrating programming languages, today announced the release of JunC++ion 2.2, which includes a patent-pending technique for creating integration solutions consisting of multiple proxy modules. By eliminating the expensive and time-consuming need to generate proxy classes on an individual basis, CodeMesh JunC++ion 2.2 significantly shortens development time, reduces maintenance costs and enables the efficient use of existing application investments.

CodeMesh's unique "in-process" integration technique makes it possible for customers to quickly and easily publish C++ or .NET versions of Java products in just a matter of hours. This creates a valuable new source of revenue, without the infrastructure, performance and security worries caused by alternatives such as Web services (1) Loosely, any online service delivered over the Web. Such usage appears in articles from non-technical sources, but not in IT-oriented publications, because definition #2 below describes the correct use of the term. . CodeMesh outperforms conventional integration methods by orders of magnitude--and only CodeMesh provides enterprise solutions for both C++ and .NET.

Additionally, CodeMesh allows customers to take advantage of service-oriented architectures See SOA.  (SOAs) by enabling easy and inexpensive mixing and matching of enterprise components. CodeMesh makes it possible for businesses to meet the technical requirements of SOAs, while being both maintainable and manageable.

"Choosing customers by the programming language they use is simply not an option," said Alex Krapf, president and co-founder of CodeMesh. "While some integration approaches require significant investments of time and money for adapters, wrappers In data mining and treatment learning, wrappers were used by Ron Kohavi and George John. Their idea was to wrap their treatments learners in a preprocessor that would search to make subsets from the current set of attributes.  and unnecessary infrastructure, CodeMesh makes 'express integration' a breeze--and there's no need for interface languages, middleware Software that functions as a conversion or translation layer. It is also a consolidator and integrator. Custom-programmed middleware solutions have been developed for decades to enable one application to communicate with another that either runs on a different platform or comes from a  and porting. This translates into huge savings, faster development of new applications, longer shelf-life for legacy programs and larger market opportunities."

The national postal service postal service, arrangements made by a government for the transmission of letters, packages, and periodicals, and for related services. It has 520,000 employees in more than 220 countries and territories worldwide and generated revenue of € 60.  AG, uses CodeMesh JunC++ion to integrate its important customer service system, written in C++, with its new Java-based application integration platform. JunC++ion makes it possible for Deutsche Post to deploy its new integration program on hundreds of workstations without having to change or abandon the customer system.

"In today's increasingly open and interconnected world, most large companies find themselves with both Java and Microsoft-based applications, and these programs often don't work together," said Mark Driver, vice president and research director at Gartner, Inc. "In-process integration can provide development organizations with a secure, high performance approach for integrating applications."

Other additions to JunC++ion in version 2.2 include:

--Usability enhancements to the code generator See application generator and macro recorder.  interface

--Support for MacOSX and IRIX A Unix-based operating system from SGI that is used in its computer systems from desktop to supercomputer. It is an enhanced version of Unix System V Release 4. IRIX integrates the X Window system with OpenGL, creating the first real time 3D X environment.  6.5 or later.

Available on Windows, Solaris, and Linux, JunC++ion is based on the same proven technology as CodeMesh's other highly successful integration products, including JuggerNET for integrating Java and .NET and JMS (Java Messaging Service) A programming interface (API) from Sun for connecting Java programs to messaging middleware such as IBM's MQSeries and TIBCO's Rendezvous. JMS is part of Sun's J2EE platform. See J2EE.
