CodeMesh Releases JunC++ion 3.0; In-process Integration Leader Delivers Speed and Flexibility Necessary to Take Advantage of Service-oriented Architectures.

CARLISLE, Mass. -- CodeMesh, Inc., the leading provider of solutions for integrating programming languages, today announced the release of JunC++ion 3.0, which includes enhanced platform portability and greater deployment flexibility. CodeMesh JunC++ion 3.0 gives customers unprecedented agility to take advantage of service-oriented architectures See SOA.  (SOAs) by enabling easy and inexpensive mixing and matching of enterprise components.

"The improvements in this latest version of CodeMesh technology represent two years of feedback from customers around the world," said Alex Krapf, president and co-founder of CodeMesh. "Despite the hype, businesses are finding that Web services (1) Loosely, any online service delivered over the Web. Such usage appears in articles from non-technical sources, but not in IT-oriented publications, because definition #2 below describes the correct use of the term.  are not the answer to every challenge. In addition to infrastructure, performance and security issues, maintenance costs are often so high that Web services become impractical im·prac·ti·cal
adj.
1. Unwise to implement or maintain in practice: Refloating the sunken ship proved impractical because of the great expense.

2.
. On the other hand, maintenance costs are minimal with 'bridging' technology. And, even more valuable than keeping expenses low, CodeMesh's in-process approach gives companies the speed and flexibility needed to take advantage of new market opportunities."

CodeMesh's unique in-process integration technique makes it possible for customers to quickly and easily publish C++ or .NET versions of Java products in just a matter of hours. JunC++ion version 3.0 improvements include:

--Portability--new compilers and platforms have been added to JunC++ion, ensuring quick porting to other platforms.

--Flexibility--a rich configuration API (Application Programming Interface) A language and message format used by an application program to communicate with the operating system or some other control program such as a database management system (DBMS) or communications protocol.  allows end-users, OEMs and system integrators to create totally self-contained integration solutions.

CodeMesh outperforms conventional integration methods by orders of magnitude--and only CodeMesh provides enterprise solutions for both C++ and .NET.
