CodeCorrect Announces RxCodeCheck for Drug Coverage Verification under Medicare Part B and Part D.

YAKIMA, Wash. -- CodeCorrect, the leading provider of coding, compliance and revenue intelligence tools, today announced that it has developed RxCodeCheck, the first Web-based solution to support both Part B and D coding and billing requirements.

RxCodeCheck is designed to validate codes, issue alerts and link to reference content in order to help payers and providers quickly check the prescribed drug against medical coverage policies and confirm if billable under Part B (through Medicare) or alternatively, determine if the drug is now payable by new Part D prescription drug plan (PDP) sponsors.

RxCodeCheck will provide the following benefits:

--Ability to search payer Part D formulary to determine if drug is part of the payer's formulary,

--Check prescribed drug and associated diagnosis against medical necessity policies to determine if drug is billable under Part B (through Medicare),

--Look up national drug codes (NDC), and their corresponding HCPCS codes to promote billing accuracy.
