Method: prepare in an 'old-fashioned' tumbler, put in lime zest and ginger, add half the Cognac, lightly press the lime and ginger using a pestle pestle /pes·tle/ (pes´'l) an implement for pounding drugs in a mortar. pes·tle n. A club-shaped, hand-held tool for grinding or mashing substances in a mortar. . Half-fill the glass with ice and stir well. Pour in the rest of the Cognac, add lemonade and cucumber peel and stir. You can also make a jug of this using the same proportions (three parts lemonade to two parts Cognac).. |
