Hist. suggests making a summery infusion by putting cherries, raspberries, rhubarb rhubarb: see buckwheat. rhubarb Any of several species of the genus Rheum (family Polygonaceae), especially R. rhaponticum (or R. rhabarbarum), a hardy perennial grown for its large, succulent, edible leafstalks. or redcurrants into a bottle of gin and letting them steep for a a couple of weeks. Then just add some other ingredients and you'll have created a tasty cocktail. This one uses redcurrants. INGREDIENTS 45ml redcurrant infused Beefeater Gin; 30ml Campari; 15ml Noilly Rouge or Martini Rosso; 5ml redcurrant syrup. METHOD Stir all ingredients over ice in a large tumbler. Garnish with a wedge of orange and a few redcurrants.. |
