Coca-Cola Enterprises Inc. signs letter of intent to acquire the Wichita Coca-Cola Bottling Company.

ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 1, 1994--Coca-Cola Enterprises today announced that the Company has signed a non-binding letter of intent to acquire the bottling operations of the Wichita Coca-Cola Bottling Company for a total transaction value (purchase price and acquired debt) of approximately $150 million. These properties, located in parts of Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska, generated 1993 net operating revenues of approximately $90 million. The proposed transaction is subject to negotiation of a definitive purchase agreement and expiration of the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust review period, and is expected to close by early 1995.
