Coca-Cola Enterprises Inc. signs letter of intent to acquire the Wichita Coca-Cola Bottling Company.


ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 1, 1994--Coca-Cola Enterprises today announced that the Company has signed a non-binding letter of intent to acquire the bottling operations of the Wichita Coca-Cola Bottling Company A bottling company is a commercial enterprise whose output is the bottling of beverages for distribution.

Many bottling companies are franchisees of corporations such as Coca-Cola and PepsiCo who distribute the beverage in a specific geographic region.
