) today announced that its first line of entry-level and professional-grade marine products is now available at retailers nationwide, marking the third new market the company entered in the past year. The Cobra Marine(TM) line features handheld and fixed dual power VHF (Very High Frequency) The range of electromagnetic frequencies from 30 MHz to 300 MHz.  marine transceivers, and marine power inverters.

The new product line is distinguished by premium features and industry firsts focused on usability and safety. Among them, are the largest LCD screen on comparably priced fixed marine transceivers, the first ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI See residual current device. ) outlets on 400- and 800-watt marine power inverters, and the first integrated microphone/speaker with volume, channel and instant 16/9 controls on a fixed marine transceiver (TRANSmitter reCEIVER) An electronic device or circuit that transmits and receives analog or digital signals.        fixed radios and is the first with a combined
       speaker/microphone with volume and channel controls, and
       instant 9/16 button. Suggested retail prices range from
       $169.95 to $209.95.

   --  Handheld Dual Power VHF Marine Transceivers - Three models
       ranging from an entry-level 2-watt model to professional-grade
       submersible 5-watt units. Advanced features include 10-channel
       memory, tri-watch to simultaneously monitor three channels and
       memory scan to quickly search favorite channels. Suggested
       retail prices range from $79.95 to $169.95.

   --  Marine Power Inverters - Available in 400-, 800-, 1500- and
       2200-watt models, all four units feature GFCI AC outlets to
       protect against shock - the first 400- and 800-watt models
       available with this fundamental safety feature. Conformal
       coating and tinned wiring provides premium corrosion
       protection in rugged marine environments. Suggested retail
       prices range from $79.95 to $409.95.
