Cobalt Networks Cobalt Networks was a maker of low-cost servers based on Linux. VERITAS Software will deliver the VERITAS Linux backup client, based on its popular VERITAS NetBackup software, to offer continuous availability of data to the Cobalt RaQ 3 and RaQ 4 server appliances, which will ship with the VERITAS Linux backup client. The software solution also simplifies the addition of a Cobalt server appliance to an existing VERITAS NetBackup network, giving Cobalt's customers a high-performance solution that backs up over the wire to VERITAS NetBackup media servers.
