), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Cobalt Corporation, has been awarded a contract by the State of West Virginia to provide audit, reimbursement and other management services for all acute care hospitals, rehabilitation hospitals, psychiatric hospitals, critical access hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, home heath agencies, federally qualified health centers and community mental health centers in West Virginia. The contract, effective May 1, 2003, will run through April 30, 2004 with two renewals, and has potential revenue to the company in excess of $880,000.

UGS is currently the Medicare Part A contractor in West Virginia. The new contract involves cost report review, auditing and other management services for the State of West Virginia for health care facilities that file a Medicare cost report under the Medicaid program. Charleston is the capital of the U.S. state of West Virginia. It is located at the confluence of the Elk and Kanawha Rivers in Kanawha County. As of the 2000 census, it has a population of 53,421.
