polymers and coatings science to be held at the university on February
14-18, 2005. The one-week course will cover aspects of coating and
polymer technologies including resin chemistry, pigments and fillers,
nanoparticles, additives, coating application aspects, and rheology,
with an emphasis on liquid coatings. Academic and industrial experts
will address both fundamental and application aspects. Other coatings
technologies, such as powder and UV coatings, will be compared and
