Coating Protects Twin Screws & Barrels.A highly wear-resistant tungsten-carbide coating is newly available for refurbishing twin screws, barrels, and other components. The coating was developed 10 years ago by Conforma Clad Inc., New Albany New Albany, city (1990 pop. 36,322), seat of Floyd co., S Ind., near the falls of the Ohio River opposite Louisville, Ky.; inc. 1819. But a new agreement between the companies allows Conforma Clad to offer the coating more widely.
