Adchem Corporation, a manufacturer of adhesive tape systems, has developed a 243PE double-coated tape, specifically designed for splicing polyolefine film. The tape features a 4mm polyethylene film support that conforms well to irregular surfaces and uses a high-tack adhesion to reliably pick up the splice, which is then completely recyclable. The polyethylene film is coated on the exposed side with a synthetic rubber adhesive and coated on the liner side with a rubber-based adhesive.
