: DR), has recently been awarded a contract by the United States Navy United States Navy

Major branch of the U.S. military forces, charged with defending the nation at sea and maintaining security on the seas wherever U.S. interests extend. The Continental Navy was established by the Continental Congress in 1775.

This award totals over $10 million if all options are exercised by the Navy during a five year period beginning Oct. 1, 1997. This contract supports the Department of Defense TRICARE Prime program, the military's managed care program at Naval Hospital in Beaufort, S.C. Coastal Government Services Inc. will manage the Emergency Medicine Department and provide primary care services to patients from a catchment area catchment area or drainage basin, area drained by a stream or other body of water. The limits of a given catchment area are the heights of land—often called drainage divides, or watersheds—separating it from neighboring drainage  population of 44,000 eligible beneficiaries.
