Coast Guard Foundation Names Jack Lowell Chairman For 8th Annual Awards Dinner.

Michael Moore, a 7th District Director of the Coast Guard Foundation, announced today that Jack Lowell, Vice Chairman of Codina Realty Services, Inc. has agreed to serve as Chairman for the Coast Guard Foundation's ninth Annual Awards Dinner to be held at the Intercontinental Hotel on Thursday, November 21, 2002.

"Jack has a long and impressive history of engagement in civic affairs in our community," said Mr. Moore "and we are pleased and honored that he has agreed to chair this year's dinner."

Among his many community activities, Jack is Chairman of the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce for the 2002-2003 year, Senior Warden at St. Stephens Episcopal Church and Chairman of the Advisory Board of the Salvation Army. He is a past President and Director of the Zoological Society of Florida, The Brickell Area Association, and the Coconut Grove Chamber of Commerce. Jack received the Broker of the Year Award from the Commercial Society of Real Estate Brokers in 1994, as well as NAIOP, South Florida Chapter, Member of the Year Award for 1996 and the Broker of the Year Award for 2001.

Jack is a Harvard College graduate and served as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy.
