Coast Dental Services, Inc. Announces Future Management Change.


TAMPA, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 26, 1999--

Coast Dental Services, Inc. (the "Company") (Nasdaq:CDEN CDEN Canadian Design Engineering Network ) announced Thursday that its Chief Financial Officer, Joseph R. Smith, will be leaving the Company in the near future.

Mr. Smith will remain with the Company in his current capacity until his successor is found and the duties are transitioned. Mr. Smith's departure will also leave a vacancy VACANCY. A place which is empty. The term is principally applied to cases where an office is not filled.
     2. By the constitution of the United States, the president has the power to fill up vacancies that may happen during the recess of the senate.
 on the Company's Board of Directors. The Company has retained a national search firm to find Mr. Smith's replacement and is seeking an experienced chief financial officer with Wall Street and health care experience. Mr. Smith started with the Company in February 1996 and has been a key member of the management team during the Company's rapid growth and public offerings.
