Coalminer dies of asphyxia.


DUKKI, 06 April , 2009 (Balochistan Times) --A labourer in a coalmine died while his colleague fell unconscious due to suffocation suffocation: see asphyxia.  after toxicant toxicant /tox·i·cant/ (tok´si-kant)

 in the mine, here in a local coal excavation field some 170 kilometres north of Quetta, on Monday, police said. The deceased has been identified as Muhammad Khan who died of while his colleague Mirza Khan lost consciousness and was shifted to civil hospital Dukki. Doctors at the hospital said condition of the survivor was stable. Both the deceased and survivor are Afghan nationals who were working in the coalmine.
