"It is anticipated that this fund will provide gap financing and enhance Gov. McGreevey's proposed restructuring of the way New Jersey addresses brownfield redevelopment. It will complement ongoing efforts to bring a "one-stop financing" approach to the remediation of New Jersey's brownfield sites through the EDA, in coordination with the DEP and DCA, " she said. The EDA was established in 1974 to promote economic growth and create jobs. It has arranged more than $15 billion in financing since its inception.
