Coactive Networks Names Christian Christiansen as Vice President of Engineering; Residential Gateway Leader Expands Executive Team.

 Networks, the leading provider of gateways for connecting the Internet to all devices in homes and businesses, today announced that Christian Christiansen Christian Christiansen (born October 9, 1843 in Loenborg, Denmark, died 1917) was a Danish physicist.

Christiansen first taught at the local polytechnical school. In 1886 he was appointed to a chair for physics at the University of Copenhagen.

While at GN Netcom, Christiansen also developed a new ASIC design, which significantly reduced costs for new products.

Christiansen also held a number of positions at GN Danavox, a leading hearing instrument manufacturer based in Copenhagen. As vice president of research, development and production, Christiansen led the strategic and technical development of PC-based instrumentation for testing and programming of hearing instruments. Time and again, products developed under Christiansen's leadership have catapulted to the top of their respective categories worldwide.
