Coaches parade into past.A SPECTACULAR parade of horse-drawn coaches will weave through Chester tomorrow for the annual meeting of the Coaching Club. Six coaches will travel in procession for nine miles from Chester Racecourse to Eaton Hall, the estate of the Duke of Westminster The title Duke of Westminster was created by Queen Victoria in 1874 and bestowed upon Richard Grosvenor, the 3rd Marquess of Westminster. A racecourse spokeswoman said: ``It will be a spectacular sight as ladies and gentlemen in their finery board the horse-drawn carriages at the racecourse and they make their way to Eaton Hall.'' Formed in 1871, the club aims to maintain and preserve the traditions of the golden age of travel by coach which came to an end with the advent of the railway in the 1840s.
