CoWare Adds Mark Milligan to Executive Management Team; Assumes Role of Vice President of Marketing.

SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 9, 2002

CoWare(TM) Inc. of San Jose, Calif., the leading supplier of system-level electronic design automation (EDA (1) (Electronic Design Automation) Using the computer to design, lay out, verify and simulate the performance of electronic circuits on a chip or printed circuit board. ) software, today announced that Mark Milligan has joined the company as vice president of marketing. He reports to Alan Naumann, CoWare's president and chief executive officer (CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board. ) and has responsibility for all corporate and product marketing, and business development.

Milligan, resident of Mountain View, Calif., has more than 15 years of EDA and semiconductor experience. His previous experience includes executive roles at Synopsys, Inc. (Nasdaq: SNPS SNPS Space Nuclear Power System ), where he held vice president of marketing positions for several of its key product divisions, including the simulation and high-level verification groups. Milligan joined Synopsys after its acquisition of Viewlogic, where he served as vice president/general manager of the Sunrise Test Systems division.
