, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 1, 1998--In a move that will increase the distribution of its products worldwide, CoStar Corporation, a leading manufacturer of paper label printers, print supplies and associated computer software, today announced the completion of its acquisition by Esselte Esselte is privately held company headquartered in Stamford, Connecticut, USA. It is a holding company, specializing in office products. It owns several companies, including Pendaflex, Leitz, Oxford, Xyron, and an operating company also called Esselte  Office Products Company, a unit of Esselte AB. Esselte is listed on the Stockholm Stockholm (stŏk`hôlm'), city (1995 pop. 692,954), capital of Sweden and of Stockholm co., E Sweden, situated where Lake Mälaren flows into the Baltic Sea.  and London Exchanges. The terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

Under the agreement, CoStar will continue to market its product line under its current management and in its current headquarters in Greenwich, Conn. The company will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary Wholly Owned Subsidiary

A subsidiary whose parent company owns 100% of its common stock.

In other words, the parent company owns the company outright and there are no minority owners.
