The partnership wraps Avenue's expert consulting services around IRI's advanced data manipulation, presentation, and synthesis software: FAst extraCT(TM) (FACT), CoSORT(R), and RowGen(TM).

Under the agreement, Avenues will become an authorized consulting expert in IRI technologies - and in particular, CoSORT's Sort Control Language (SortCL) program. SortCL combines critical data manipulations - sorting, selecting, joining, aggregating, converting, reformatting and reporting - in a single, database-independent I/O pass. SortCL's metadata is also leveraged in FACT (table unload) and RowGen (file synthesis). Avenues will have all three products on different operating systems, technical documentation, and access to IRI development staff. Trained Avenues engineers and advisors will learn to prototype, implement, tune, and support CoSORT operations in data warehouse ETL and business intelligence delivery operations. They can also leverage various CoSORT accelerators for incumbent sort operations.
