CoCreate Releases Windows-Compatible Version of ME10; Professional 2-D Design, Drafting and Documentation Functionality Now Available in the Windows Environment.

FORT COLLINS, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 29, 1999--CoCreate Software Inc., a subsidiary of Hewlett-Packard Company, today announced the availability of a fully Windows(R)-compliant version of its leading 2-D design, drafting and documentation solution, ME10.

ME10 Version 9.0 provides users with a professional 2-D solution that incorporates a full set of advanced computer-aided design (CAD) functionalities. It also supports the needs of existing ME10 customers who are on a multiplatform environment or who are looking to reduce maintenance and administration costs by migrating from UNIX(R) systems to the Windows environment.

In addition to full Windows support, ME10 9.0 includes several enhancements that improve usability and productivity. ME10 9.0 enables both experienced and novice CAD users to achieve their design tasks faster than ever before. Users can choose between the classic ME10 user interface and the new Windows-style user interface. They also benefit from full integration between ME10 9.0 and ME10 Viewer, CoCreate's recently announced low-cost solution for viewing and printing ME10 drawings from a Windows-based PC or an HP-UX(1) system.
