2-D to 3-D Accelerator Kit

ME10 2000+ integrates the benefits of 3-D design into existing 2-D product-development processes with the new 2-D to 3-D accelerator kit, which is available free of charge from CoCreate.

2-D drawings created with ME10, or imported through DXF, DWG or IGES, can be intelligently incorporated into SolidDesigner directly to create the corresponding 3-D design. The accelerator kit increases productivity by speeding up contour selection, automatically detecting closed contours, removing duplicate lines, finding and closing gaps between contours, transferring data to SolidDesigner 2000+, and reusing data such as color, part name and assembly structure. Included with ME10 2000+ is a 30-day free trial version of SolidDesigner 2000+ with a guide on how to easily create 3-D design from 2-D drawings, and a customizable screensaver. Users can effortlessly explore the benefits of 3-D design processes, including dynamic modeling, 3-D collision and clearance analysis, reducing the number of physical prototypes and development cycles.

ME10's design management is a professionally integrated drawing and document-management solution, offering designers the ability to standardize, track and secure drawings and related documentation. The direct access and tight integration with ME10 2000+ enables customers to evolve to a complete product-development solution that includes design management.
