Co-op extends use of Thor Pot.

Like the soups, the sauces are manufactured for the Co-op by Pasta Reale. The recent relaunch of the range offers improved recipes with reduced fat and salt, and the Co-op wanted to promote this through a refreshing of the sauces' packaging and labelling.

Three key factors were instrumental in the choice of the Thor Pot: consistency of branding between the soup and sauce ranges, the quality of service and supply from RPC (Remote Procedure Call) A programming interface that allows one program to use the services of another program in a remote machine. Combining the decoration process with the moulding process cuts the total cost, but can add overheads to the manufacturing time. .
