Co-extrusion tooling.

The Series 220 co-extrusion die is specially engineered as co-extrusion tooling for producing advanced profiles and seals in combinations of materials, including rubber and other thermosets thermosets, materials that can not be softened on heating. In thermosetting polymers, the polymer chains are joined (or cross-linked) by intermolecular bonding. Thermosets are usually supplied as partially polymerized or as monomer-polymer mixtures. , as well as various types of thermoplastic A polymer material that turns to liquid when heated and becomes solid when cooled. There are more than 40 types of thermoplastics, including acrylic, polypropylene, polycarbonate and polyethylene.  used for aerospace, automotive and construction products. The Series 220 tooling can extrude extrude /ex·trude/ (ek-strldbomacd´)

product sizes of 1/2" (1.27 cm) to 2-1/2" (6.34 cm). A key money saving technical advantage of the 220 Series is said to be that it offers simultaneous directed material flow for a single product or multiple families of products that have the same, identical material requirements, yet must be extruded in different end use sizes. A unique design configuration is said to allow the extruded material to pass through the Series 220 tooling and prevents compound degradation, as well as stagnation Stagnation

A period of little or no growth in the economy. Economic growth of less than 2-3% is considered stagnation. Sometimes used to describe low trading volume or inactive trading in securities.

Notes:
A good example of stagnation was the U.S. economy in the 1970s.
