DJ E Double D and DJ Stampeeda won through to the final round of the 2009 Alize Remixed competition winning the chance to take to the decks with their music heroes. They both got involved when the first round of the competition came to the Custard Factory earlier this year and won their way through the competition until they were given the chance of competing in the finals at Paper in London's Regent Street

DJ Stampeeder says: "I came to Alize Remixed's Birmingham heat to see Jazzy Jeff and found out about the competition and had to get involved. "I entered my mix and was absolutely over the moon to have won a place at the Leeds gig playing with Tim Westwood Tim Westwood (born 3 October 1957 in Lowestoft, Suffolk),[1][2][3]is a British rap DJ and presenter of the BBC Radio 1 Rap Show. He also presents the UK version of the MTV show Pimp My Ride. and Shortee Blitz. "The most amazing part about playing at Gatecrasher in Leeds was the fact it was the first time I'd ever played in a club. Alize Remixed has been an amazing opportunity. I got a chance to come up to London and meet Grandmaster Flash and play a set at Paper. "It's been a mad experience and I can't wait to see what happens next year and which icons they bring over. I'm really looking forward to getting involved again." DJ E Double D adds: "I'm so glad I entered. Not only did I get to DJ on the Alize Remixed tour but I met two of my DJ heroes Jazzy Jeff and Grandmaster Flash. "The whole experience has been brilliant and given me a boost to really pursue DJing. I've now got my own night at K Bar in Birmingham and the future looks good. "Even though the Alize Team took me up to London which was a mad laugh, I've got to say I prefer the Birmingham crowds, they know how to keep it real."
