ONE of the most played and loved techno anthems, The Bells from Jeff Mills, is to get a re-release.

Out on DVD and 12-inch vinyl in mid-February, The Bells will also no doubt be on Mills' play list when he makes a welcome return to the Arches for Pressure on February 24.

IF you're excited about Mills at Pressure in February then you'll flip at the March line-up, which features Laurent Garnier, James Holden, Wighnomy Brother, Alex Smoke and Slam, with even more acts still to be announced.

Alex Smoke has completed his second album, Paradolia and I've heard a sneak preview. It's the follow up to last year's brilliant Incommunicado and he's polished up his minimal sound for an album with more sonic depth. It will be out at the end of March.

DANNY RAMPLING isn't going into his musical retirement quietly. Before he turns chef on us he's cooked up a cracking single with the MYN boys. Strobe light features a beefy bassline with a liberal sprinkling of acidness - fantastic.
