COVENTRY CITY officials have warned fans that any trouble at tomorrow's home match against Arsenal will lead to court action and lifetime bans from the ground,

"We are not known as a bad club with bad fans. I've had people ringing up all week, genuine fans, saying how ashamed they are about what happened. It was out of character."

The club has banned nine supporters for varying periods since the start of the season.

Supt Paul Diehl of Coventry police said: "We have reviewed our policing plans.

"There are a small number of people who we know are intent on causing trouble and we will be focusing our attention on them - they should be mindful mind·ful
