Club is all set to go continental; DEVELOPMENT: Owner reveals plans.

CAFE culture is coming to a city centre club with the opening of a continental-style cafeteria cafeteria: see restaurant.  open until 4am.

The cafe, at the back of Graduates, is already being built and is due to open by early summer, with special disabled access and toilets.

Mr Henneberry, aged 44, said: "This is bringing an exciting new dimension to what we offer. People will be able to come for a drink at the club and also go to the cafe-bar, meaning we can offer an all-round entertainment experience." The cafe will be open from to 10am to 4am, seven days a week.

Mr Henneberry has also applied to Coventry City Council to open a takeaway at the front of the premises, selling fried chicken Fried chicken is chicken which is dipped in a breading mixture and then deep fried, pan fried or pressure fried. The breading seals in the juices but also absorbs the fat of the fryer, which is sometimes seen as unhealthy. . He anticipates that opening by the summer. About 22 jobs are set to be created by the two new enterprises.

Graduates was previously called The Godiva, and known as The Dive by regulars and was popular among generations of drinkers in the city

The nightclub area of the venue is open on Friday and

Saturday nights, mostly for private bookings, and for certain gigs during the week, and not closed as we previously reported on Tuesday.
