Club Monaco moves into space at 137 West 57th Street. (Retail New York).

The leasing team of Faith Hope Consolo and Joseph Aquino of Garrick-Aug Worldwide, Ltd., have arranged a short-term lease for Club Monaco at 37 West 57th St., the space formerly occupied by Cosmetics Plus--approximately 2,500 SF, ground level, approximately 900 SF, mezzanine level, and approximately 500 SF, basement level.

"The Club Monaco flagship store is relocating from its former address at 699 Fifth Ave. and 55th Street, in the St. Regis Hotel," announces Consolo, vice chairman. "which has been sold to Boucheron."

"West 57th Street has recently played host to Gucci, at the old Henri Bendel space, 12 West 57th St., when the Fifth Avenue flagship was undergoing renovations. At present, Burberry is following suit and has taken the same space, while their store on East 57th Street is also being renovated and expanded. We are happy to have been able to accommodate Club Monaco."

"There are several other Club Monaco stores in New York City. It is an international retail brand known for great clothing styles for both men and women that last forever, but also have the feeling of the moment. The cosmetic line promotes the modern spirit of beauty."

"37 West 57th Street is just off the northwest corner of Fifth and 57th of the intersection that used to be known as the Corners of the Four Jewels: Van Cleef, Bulgari, Tiffany and--Bugs Bunny. Now that Bugs has left us, and will be replaced by Louis Vuitton, perhaps it should be known as the Crossroads of Luxury."
