Club 1507 closes after 4 years.

WICHITA - "We decided to close mostly because of the economy and how hard and hot it has been this summer," Robert Sanders, one of the owners of Club 1507, explained. "It just took a big hit on everyone."

The bar, located at 1507 E. Pawnee, closed Aug. 31 after nearly four years. "We had a great run at the bar and helped a lot of different local organizations, which we are all proud of," Sanders said referring to the many fundraisers the club hosted. "We also met a lot of great people and made some amazing lifelong friends. I just wish the best for all my employees because we had an awesome crew all the way around."

Sanders isn't sure what he'll do next but is considering a couple different business journeys.
