TruSecure(R) Corporation, a leading managed security services provider, is announcing that the Clovis Unified School District in Fresno, Calif. has selected TruSecure's Enterprise 2001 to secure its critical information assets, such as financial and grade information, from malicious code, hackers and other threats.

TruSecure Enterprise 2001 centrally manages the district's information security risk management program. In the initial phase of the program, its 34 district schools are undergoing a security audit to identify the critical assets of the organization and to determine security risks posed to the district.

While there has been a dramatic increase in Internet-connected schools, the issue of information security has not been widely addressed by many school districts. With more than 32,000 students and 4,500 employees, Clovis Unified has, at any given time, approximately 10,000-12,000 users on their network.
