Cloverleaf and NetApp Complete Interoperability Testing.

WOODBURY, N.Y. -- Cloverleaf Communications, the first company to deliver Quality of Service (QoS) for heterogeneous storage networks, and Network Appliance (1) A specialized device for use on a network. For example, Web servers, cache servers and file servers can be implemented as general-purpose computers with the appropriate software or as network appliances, which are computers dedicated to a single function and cannot do anything , the leader in advanced networked storage solutions, today announced the completion of interoperability The capability of two or more hardware devices or two or more software routines to work harmoniously together. For example, in an Ethernet network, display adapters, hubs, switches and routers from different vendors must conform to the Ethernet standard and interoperate with each other.  testing between Cloverleaf's Intelligent Storage Networking(TM) (iSN(TM)) system and the NetApp(R) FAS200, FAS3000, and FAS900 unified storage The capability of combining different data formats such as files, folders, contacts and e-mail messages into collections that can be viewed and manipulated as one group. NetApp and Cloverleaf interoperability builds on the success the two companies are having satisfying customers' needs throughout the storage network. In both SAN and NAS configurations, end users can expand beyond their current install base and leverage the benefits of both NetApp storage solutions and Cloverleaf's iSN systems. Mutual customers can now centrally manage heterogeneous, multi-tier vendor agnostic ag·nos·tic

"The NetApp RAID-DP(TM) storage architecture combined with Cloverleaf's iSN intelligence and Quality of Service (QoS) enables end users to experience non-disruptive advanced storage solutions and amplifies visibility and configurability at any level -- file, LUN, and volume."

"The interoperability between both NetApp and Cloverleaf provides yet another layer of simplicity, functionality and value that customers demand," said Patrick Rogers, vice president of Partner Marketing at Network Appliance. "Cloverleaf and the NetApp enterprise storage architecture are well aligned, enabling customers to scale their data centers and storage infrastructures to match dynamic changes in their business."
