Clough Global Equity Fund Declares Quarterly Cash Distribution of $0.24 Per Share.


DENVER -- Today, the Clough Global Equity Fund (NYSE NYSE

 Amex: GLQ GLQ Gauss-Legendre Quadrature (numerical method) ) declared a quarterly cash distribution of $0.24 per common share for July 2009. The dividend will be payable on July 31, 2009 to shareholders of record on July 22, 2009.

The Fund has approximately $454 million in total assets, the net asset value was $13.85 per share and the market price was $11.21 as of July 8, 2009. Subject to market conditions, the Fund intends to distribute subsequent regular quarterly cash distributions.
