Clos LaChance Winery Makes $21,500 Donation for Hurricane Relief.


SAN MARTIN, Calif. -- As 2006 begins, Clos LaChance Winery is pleased to announce a $21,500 donation to help support the local Santa Clara Santa Clara, city, Cuba
Santa Clara (sän`tä klä`rä), city (1994 est. pop. 217,000), capital of Villa Clara prov., central Cuba.

Moved by the disastrous effects of Hurricane Katrina, the winery pledged 100 percent of the proceeds from the sale of its 2001 El Dorado El Dorado, legendary country of South America

 Zinfandel sold through the winery's website www.clos.com, visitor center and by phone from September to December 2005.

The Santa Clara Valley is a valley just south of the San Francisco Bay in Northern California in the United States.

The winery grounds include a regulation-size bocce ball court, picnic area in the Mulberry Grove, and dramatic views of the surrounding foothills. The winery hosts monthly evening wine tastings, an annual jazz concert, wine club dinners and other special events throughout the year. The winery is also available for weddings and corporate events.
