Clorox Announces New V.P. - Treasurer and V.P. - Controller.


OAKLAND, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 30, 1999--

The Clorox Company (NY, PE:CLX (library, graphics) CLX - The Common Lisp library providing a low-level interface to the X Window System, equivalent to Xlib. Graphics toolkits can be built on top of CLX, e.g. McCLIM, Garnet, CLUE and CLIO. ) today announced the following executive appointments, effective October 1, 1999:

Henry J. (Hank) Salvo, formerly vice president and controller, has been named vice president and treasurer; Greg S. Frank, formerly general manager, Korea, has been promoted to vice president and controller.

"These appointments provide highly experienced and capable leadership for two key functions in the company," said Karen Rose, group vice president and chief financial officer. "Hank and Greg are seasoned Clorox executives with a combined 46 years in Clorox's finance and accounting organization."
