 new restaurant serving delicious English and European a la carte dishes, has opened above Trader Jacks at Corporation Road, in the heart of Middlesbrough.

A further expansion by husband and wife business partners, Jason and Jennie French, the new establishment has won top marks from diners Diners can mean:

 who have attended a series of charity fund-raising evenings.

Jason says: "With a score of five as excellent we have been getting four and five approval ratings.

Roberto has more than 20 years' experience working in restaurants and welcomes all customers to eat, in this fantastic new restaurant.

"Real cuisine at keen prices, you will not be disappointed," he adds.

Darren Hill, the head chef at Clockwork Orange, is highly experienced in the restaurant industry and his talent to produce fabulous food at amazingly affordable prices is, as you will find, only too apparent.

Jason and Jennie launched their Trader Jacks business three years ago with the opening of Trader Jacks in Blue Post Yard, High Street, Stockton, quickly followed by the launch of the Middlesbrough outlet the following year.

In December 2006 they successfully completed the purchase of their business at 18 Station Road, Billingham.

Jennie, who planned the interior design for the new restaurant, says: "It is quite open plan with the head chef working in full view of the customers."

Barclays has helped provide finance for the new restaurant that has seen a pounds 100,000 investment. At the Barclays sponsored charity fundraising and market testing evenings prior to the official launch, pounds 700 was raised for the Butterwick Hospice.

From the feedback received at these evenings company directors Jason and Jennie have been assured they are providing customers with delicious food and great service.

The Teesside business couple say: "Come and try our menus. We serve mainly fish, steak, parmesan and chicken dishes plus authentic pasta. Check out the atmosphere and enjoy the new experience of alternative dining at Middlesbrough's newest restaurant in the centre of town.

"This is the place for fine dining in Middlesbrough, you just have to try it and experience our English and European cuisine. We have a full drinks licence and are open from 5pm - midnight Sundays-Thursdays and until 1am on Fridays and Saturdays."
