SARASOTA, Fla. -- Clockwork Home Services, Inc. (Clockwork), a leading provider of home services, today announced its appointment of Robert J. Clanin to the position of chief financial officer. In this capacity, Mr. Clanin will oversee Clockwork's financial operations. The company also announced that Kerry DeLay McCane, who has served as chief financial officer since May 2006, will become the chief administrative officer, a newly created position within the company. Both of these appointees will be based in Clockwork's Sarasota, FL, headquarters and their appointments are effective immediately.

Mr. Clanin, who is a member of Clockwork's board of directors, is coming out of retirement to join Clockwork. Mr. Clanin retired in 2001 from United Parcel Service (UPS), where he had served as senior vice president and chief financial officer since 1994. As that company's CFO, he was responsible for all areas of finance and accounting including: tax, investor relations, mergers and acquisitions, reports and plans, real estate, SEC reporting, procurement, retirement plan investments, treasury and internal audit. He had overall supervision of the company's landmark initial public offering in 1999. Prior to his retirement from UPS, he served as a member of its management committee, which oversees the day-to-day management of the company, its corporate strategy committee and, in 1996, was elected to UPS' board of directors. Mr. Clanin began his career at UPS in 1970 as a part-time accounting clerk.

In addition to his position as CFO at Clockwork, Mr. Clanin also serves on the board of Jet Blue Airlines and Caurastar Industries (recycled paper). He is the past director of CP Ships (container shipping), John Harland Co. (financial services) and Serologicals (biological products). He is also chairman of the Georgia Council on Economic Education Emeritus and on the board of The Annie E. Casey Foundation. Mr. Clanin previously served on the UPS Foundation prior to his retirement. He is a trustee at Bradley University, as well as St. Joseph's Hospital and Southern Catholic College. Mr. Clanin is a native of Toluca, Illinois, and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Bradley University in 1966.

Kerry DeLay McCane joined Clockwork in April 2006 as vice president of mergers and acquisitions. Since May 2006, she has served as chief financial officer. Prior to Clockwork, Ms. McCane was employed by Consolidated Container Company as plant manager of a new plastic packaging facility in Kansas City. At the end of her tenure, she was responsible for large capital projects, new facility construction, and acquisitions of new companies as well as the integration of new operations into the corporate fold. From 2002 through January of 2006 Ms. McCane lead the development and implementation of manufacturing systems for that corporation, working at its corporate headquarters in Atlanta and 68 manufacturing facilities across the US, Canada and Mexico. While working full-time and traveling extensively, McCane earned her Masters in Business Administration with emphasis in operations management and finance from the University of Missouri at Kansas City.

Clockwork currently operates electrical, plumbing, heating and air conditioning franchises within its portfolio of home services franchises.
