"Compilers have the unique ability to process immense amounts of data, making them ideally suited for building protection and tamper-resistance into software," says Liem. "In order to properly secure applications from being targeted by hackers, one must use build-time techniques at the source code level within the compiler. This session will provide attendees with the necessary methodology, as well as several real world examples, of how to properly secure one's critical applications."

Liem received his Ph.D. in Microelectronics from L'Institut National Polytechnique de Grenoble (INPG INPG Institut National Polytechnique de Grenoble (France) ) in France where he was awarded the "Prix de These".
