ClipperNet Corp. Signs Long-Term Last Mile Transport Agreement for Microwave Service.


EUGENE, Ore.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--August 4, 1999--

ClipperNet Corporation has signed an agreement with Radio Service Company (Kennewick, Washington Kennewick is a city in Benton County in southeastern Washington. It is the most populous of the three cities collectively referred to as the Tri-Cities (the others being Pasco and Richland). ) to provide Internet service via High Speed Microwave to customers in approximately thirty-five 1st, 2nd and 3rd tier markets in Oregon, Washington and Idaho.

 operations. The agreement with ClipperNet rounds out RSC's product offerings to include Internet transport over proprietary technology the companies have agreed to mutually deploy.

Sales and marketing efforts in these new markets will be addressed by the combined sales forces of both companies and will be focused on the "Business to Business" market. ClipperNet Corporation's unique High Speed Microwave Internet service has been deployed in Oregon communities for three years resulting in a major share of the high speed IP transport business in the markets it serves.
