ClioSoft Announces Seamless Integration with Cadence Virtuoso Platform and Support for the OpenAccess Database.

ClioSoft, Inc., a leading provider of design data management solutions for the electronics design industry, today announced that its SOS viaDFII 4.10 will support data management for the newly introduced Cadence(R) Virtuoso(R) custom design platform. To further improve designers' performance, SOS viaDFII now enables designers access to SOS data management features directly from the Cadence Virtuoso custom design environment with which they are already familiar. SOS viaDFII has been extended using Skill to provide enterprise customers with a rich set of additional data management features. In addition, ClioSoft now offers support for the industry-standard OpenAccess database. OpenAccess support delivers increased productivity for SOS users with mixed design flows involving tools from multiple commercial vendors and internally developed applications.
