LONDON, Oct 12 (KUNA) -- US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was Monday holding talks with Northern Ireland's political leaders in Belfast as they broker a historic deal on sharing responsibility for the region's justice system, officials said.Republicans and pro-British unionists have yet to finalise an agreement on devolving policing and justice powers from Westminster to the Stormont Assembly, the self-rule parliament in the province, but lengthy talks with Prime Minister Gordon Brown last week carved out a financial blueprint for the move.The American delegation was today discussing its continued political and economic support for the Irish peace process when Clinton meets First Minister Peter Robinson and deputy First Minister Martin McGuinness James Martin Pacelli McGuinness MP MLA (Irish: Máirtín Mag Aonghusa;[1] born in Derry 23 May 1950) is the Deputy First Minister of Northern Ireland. , US officials said.Yesterday, she held talks here with Gordon Brown and Foreign Secretary David Miliband covering Afghanistan, Iraq, the Iranian nuclear crisis, and other major international issues.The US Secretary is making her seventh visit to Northern Ireland Northern Ireland: see Ireland, Northern.
