Clinton believes there will be Iraq elections.


WASHINGTON, Nov 23 (KUNA) -- US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton affirmed af·firm

here Monday her country's support towards the efforts exerted by the Iraqi

government to pass an election law to proceed with the elections. Speaking to reporters following her meeting with Bulgarian Foreign Minister

Rumiana Jeleva, Clinton said "We know that there are some continuing concerns"

that have to be addressed" and that her country will continue to work with all

the parties. Clinton indicated that US Ambassador to Iraq Christopher Hill Christopher Hill may refer to several different people:

"This morning I met and heard a report about the way forward. There's a

number of ideas that we will be presenting," she noted. Clinton stressed that there's an interim period "that we think provide the

opportunity for all the parties to come together and with the help of not just
