Clinical Data Declares Seventeenth Consecutive Quarterly Cash Dividend.

NEWTON, Mass. -- Clinical Data, Inc. (NASDAQ:CLDA) announced today that the Board of Directors of the Company has declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.03 per common share, payable on March 25, 2005 to shareholders of record on February 21, 2005.

The Board will continue to consider future quarterly dividends based on the Company's performance and other relevant factors."
