Dr. Meeta Patnaik was most recently the Chief Medical Officer of Lipomics Technologies where she was responsible for developing a diagnostic program to enable and support all phases of pharmaceutical drug development programs and diagnostic commercialization of proprietary assets. Patnaik was a founder of Pathway Diagnostics where she was the Senior Vice President and Chief Science and Technology Officer, and was responsible for the development and commercialization of new diagnostic assays. Prior to Pathway Diagnostics, Patnaik held various senior scientific and leadership positions worldwide at Specialty Labs and established laboratories in India, Egypt, Malaysia and Singapore. Dr. Patnaik received her MD from SCB Medical College in India and has held academic positions at various universities, including California State University, Dominguez Hills California State University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH) is a campus of the California State University system. It is located in the Los Angeles suburb of Carson, California. and the Department of Biotechnology The Centre for Biotechnology at Acharya Nagarjuna University was established in year 1994 inaugurated by the then Secretary, Department of Biotechnology, Government of India, Dr.C.R.Bhatia. The centre was offering two academic programs, M.Sc. Prior to Celera, Dr. Lewis spent 13 years at Bayer Diagnostics in various positions including that of Director of Genomics and Bioinformatics, Program Manager of the Colorectal Cancer Program, and Project Manager of Nucleic Acid Diagnostics and Corporate Research. She also served on the Board of Directors of the SNP Consortium where she represented the Bayer AG organization. Dr. Lewis has a B.S. from Cornell University in Biological Sciences. She has an M.S. in Microbiology from the University of Georgia Organization The President of the University of Georgia (as of 2007, Michael F. Adams) is the head administrator and is appointed and overseen by the Georgia Board of Regents. and a Ph.D. from the University of Alberta in Basic Medical Sciences (Neurovirology); she also completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Yale University School of Medicine.
