Clinica Las Condes chose the Cerner Millennium platform because of its clinical functionality, scalability, HL7 communication protocols, easy interface with existing systems and compliance with standards suggested by the Joint Commission.
Clinica Las Condes will be replacing its existing HIT products with Cerner Millennium solutions that will be used to automate nursing and physician documentation; operations in the emergency, pharmacy, surgery and registration departments; and medication-administration processes.
