ClientSoft Announces IBM Agreement.TARRYTOWN, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 17, 1998-- e-Business Made Easier ClientSoft(tm) Inc., a leader in the e-Business marketplace, announced today its entering into a Software Vendor Marketing Partnership agreement with IBM (International Business Machines Corporation, Armonk, NY, www.ibm.com) The world's largest computer company. IBM's product lines include the S/390 mainframes (zSeries), AS/400 midrange business systems (iSeries), RS/6000 workstations and servers (pSeries), Intel-based servers (xSeries) (R). The products are now available to IBM customers via IBM's U.S. direct-sales force, as well as in joint IBM and ClientSoft ventures. ClientSoft's software products provide Wireless and Mobile solutions, Web enablement and other Legacy Extension solutions to organizations with existing investments of IBM Enterprise Servers, S/390 and AS/400 systems. The competitive nature of the e-Business marketplace is all about time and resources.
